The Autumn/Winter  Flu programme is now starting to wind down. -

Our current clinics will be on :

• Friday 14th February 
• Friday 14th March

Covid Vaccines winter campain has now finished. Spring boosters will recommence on 1st April at the Sea Cadets Site. Cohorts will be over 75yrs, immunosupressed and care homes only. Patients will be contacted nearer the time if eligible - Please make sure your contact details with the practice are uptodate.

Flu vaccines will be available untill 31.3.2025

Flu Cohorts:

• Those aged 65 years and over
  • those aged 18 years to under 65 in clinical risks groups as defined by the Green Book.
  • those who are pregnant
  • those in long-stay residential care homes and housebound
  • frontline NHS and social care workers, and those working in care homes for older people

RSV Cohorts: 

• you're pregnant (from 28 weeks of pregnancy) – this will help protect your baby for the first few months after they're born
• you're aged 75 to 79

Pneumococcal Cohort: 

• 65 years and over  (this is a one off vaccine for the majority of patients - if you are unsure if you have had it previously please check with the practice before booking)
• Those who may need more than one dose will normally be contacted by the practice to advise when the next dose is coming due.

Private Vaccines for those not eligible for an NHS COVID, Flu or RSV

Private COVID, Flu or RSV vaccines are available. Patients are asked to complete the form on www.canterburyvaccinationsite.co.uk  for any other private vaccines required and they will be contacted for an appointment.
